Still Raw, Still Tender

This structure displays three drawings, two sculptural objects, a light box and two glass engravings. The drawings on paper are of the surface of a shell, the texture of the Haldighati mountains, and the trunk of a pipal tree consuming another tree. The engraved text in the glass container reads, ‘The medicine on her stomach-wound was still fresh when we buried her. It will not heal, though. Not without blood flow.’
